I never even bought a comic book. I wanted to start reading them but don’t know where to focus. I’ve looked at ads for The Batman Chronicles, which seem like a good value.

I’m mainly interested in the darker stuff, particularly stuff like “A Serious House on Serious Earth” and Frank Miller’s things. Would the Chronicles be a good place to start, and where do I go from there?
