I've been thinking of picking up some Huntress and Birds of Prey trades lately. I like the idea that Huntress is similar to Batman but doesn't have his strict moral code when it comes to dealing with the villains. I also loved her and Question in the JLU animated series. My problem is there are two Huntress origin trades, Huntress: Year One and Batman Huntress: Cry for Blood. I'm not sure which one to get or if I should get any at all. Is this character worth it? Are there any stories with Huntress and Question together like in JLU? I plan on getting Birds of Prey if Huntress works out but would still like opinions on that as well.
EDIT: I just realized this should've probably gone in the Batman Forum. Sorry about that.

" franchise, but Willem Dafoe told MTV News he was once up for the role of another spooky comic book character.
Over the years, whenever Bruce Wayne had to vacate the role of Batman for a time, he returned with a resolution to do things differently...to be more open-minded, to trust his partners more, to be more accessible.
But every time, after KNIGHTFALL, after MURDERER/FUGITIVE, and after INFINITE CRISIS, Bruce's "new approach" was basically something to the effect of "new costume, new Batcave location, new Batmobile...same old attitude."
When he returns after this latest sabbatical, will Bruce be different (for real) at long last, or is it another costume modification and Batcave relocation with the same old attitude?

Does anyone knows what happened to All Star Batman and Robin? Frank Miller and Jim Lee just dropped the project or will they care to present a new issue all ready? How much time has passed since the last issue?
It is way unprofessional kind of behaviour from the both of them regarding this series!

Batman vanishing
You can run, but he can’t hide. Sure, Batman’s “vanishing silently into the shadows” routine is impressive and unnerving 99% of the time. But what about those rare occasions when he doesn’t pull it off? College Humor reveals what happens when the Dark Knight’s mystique fails….

Jock Does Batwoman!
Jock does some great covers and here's his variant for the next Detective:

I love it! I must say, i'm not too impressed with Williams' new covers for the next arc. His first four were great but the new ones are missing something in the composition.

Dick Grayson is arguably the 3rd most famous superhero ever (Superman is obviously #1, Batman #2 and when you think of him "and Robin" comes next) and has long and varied history through his 70 years of existence, from sidekick to Titans leader, to solo hero to now assuming the mantle of the Bat, but which is your favorite? You're also free to go to other mediums. Maybe your favorite Dick Grayson moment was in a movie (though I can't imagine how) or on TV. Off the top of my head one of my all-time favorite Dick Grayson moment was as Robin waaaay back in Teen Titans #24:
which I actually read here for the first time:

The Titans are all knocked out by the bad guys and rather than simply shoot them (because this is an adventure story) their unconscious bodies are placed in a bobsled and they're pushed down a ski jump to their doom. I can't remember it exactly, but the copy reads something about them all being out except for their leader, the one "whose mind cannot totally be denied." Of course it's Robin and he wakes up, sees the situation, scoops up some ice, wakes up Kid Flash, who then creates a super-speed air cushion at the bottom.
And outside comics, the unduly trashed by fans the recent The Batman animated show (how dare it not be the Timm/Dini classic!?!) had the swashbuckling Robin of old. Batman and Robin are fighting Metallo to protect Superman and they hit him with batarangs. Metallo laughs them off untill he notice one has lodged itself in the casing where he keeps the kryptonite. Cut to Robin cracking a smile. It was his shot that did it. I love that. And I loved his character design:

What are yours?
