1. Darke already confirmed that Dini will be writing her in Streets.

2. Dan also confirmed that he thinks she's a viable character and there's plans for her beyond BftC, as seen here: http://www.newsarama.com/comics/0209...DC-Nation.html

3. But... this

Quote:

Cassandra Cain will not be a member of the Bat-family after ?Battle for the Cowl,? Sattler said.
Which lends credence to the idea that she'll probably be getting a new name. If she's in Streets, then we know she's not really going anywhere. And I doubt they'd do a heel turn with her again since it was such a disaster the first time. So it looks like she's moving on to a new name, and hopefully striking out with an identity beyond the Bats (ala Dick moving on to Nightwing). Maybe now I can get to see Kasumi since I missed out the first time.

edit: I sent a message to Dan just asking about it. Not really so much where she's going, but just asking if she's going to be a non-costumed supporting character or if she's moving on to a new name (that way it's something he can probably at least hint at). I also of course told him that I'm glad she still has some presence in the immediate future, and that while I'll be happy either way so long as she still has some presence in the DCU, I'd prefer her moving on because I think it's the better chance for character growth

I just got back from WC, and I got to talking with Azzarello (I asked him to sign an assload of stuff ) and I started talking about how much I liked Broken City and he says that he is working on a project with Risso.

maybe I misheard him or something but that's what I heard.

I cannot imagine a worse announcement coming out of WonderCon.

What an insanely large disappointment.

A city looking to kill itself. A population without its dark avenger, without answers, without hope. A cop looking to save Gotham from its own madness. A reporter looking to reclaim her career by revealing that it's no coincidence the city's top billionaire and its urban legend are missing at the same time. A doctor seeking to regain her soul by stepping back into Hell. One hero who can't quite get it right no matter how hard she tries. Harvey Bullock. Vicki Vale. Dr. Leslie Thompkins. Stephanie Brown. What do all these people have in common?

I like the artwork...I wasn't sure I was expecting it, but it looks good. I'm excited for this to start.

Hello everyone i am new to the forum as i am collecting comic books, but i have been a batman fan since my youth. I have a question. I just bought my first comic book. It is the conclusion of Batman RIP. I told the comic book store owner i wanted to buy the "real" print and i didn't want any reprints. How can i tell if the comic book is an original print or a reprint? Would it have a number of some sort on the sides? Thanks guys!

Just as the title suggests; what were your favorite team-up moments and/or stories involving Batman and another character that were from the classic Brave and the Bold (the pre-Crisis series)?
