I am new to comics (by new I mean this is the first time in my life I?ve had a pull list, I've always read stuff here and there casually)
I was wondering why I see so much hate for the superman batman book.
I have read 47 and 48 and loved them. ( I am going to read 48, 50 and 51 tomorrow) The story seemed ok and the art is amassing!
Maybe I am easily amused
Is there anybody else who likes this book?
If you don't like it why?

Long Halloween/Dark Victory
I loved the way this showed the fall of Harvey Dent and the rise of Two-Face and Two-Face uniting the "freaks" against the "suits".
Eye of the Beholder (Batman Annual #14)
Though I prefer TLH/DV, this issue was a pretty good version of his origin imho
Rucka's Work on the Character (NML, Gotham Central)
The trial of Gordon and his gang war with Batman were among my favorite bits of all of NML and hands down was my favorite GC arc. (even won an Eisner  )
Jekyll & Hyde
I just plain enjoyed this series and really like Jenkin's writting.
Face the Face
though a bit shoehorned I liked the way they brought Two-Face back
A Lonely Place of Dying
Ok not a pure Two-Face story but I kinda liked how Two-Face was shown in this issue and how in the end the Joker was making him go crazy so that he could manipulate him.
Dark Knight Returns
An interesting issue, liked how by fixing his face, he was truly "whole".

This thread has probably been done to death but I want to put my two cents in and say that it's Jezebel Jet. She's come out of relatively nowhere to already be living with Bruce and somehow figured out his secret identity. I think it's her nor Alfred, but her.

Among Blick's cameo roles is a part in Tim Burton's 1989 Batman film. Blick played the young Jack Napier, who killed Bruce Wayne's parents and later became the Joker, played by Jack Nicholson.

We've had the pop Batman, the surreal Batman and, now, the nightmare Batman. The character Batman is flexible enough to fit comfortably in any of these environments.

In this thread we cast Batman movies, in any era, with whoever we feel like. The actors must live in the same era though.
Batman 1947
(Based on Orson Welles urban legend)
Bruce Wayne: Gregory Peck.
The Joker: Richard Widmark.
Gordon: James Cotton
Alfred: Everette Sloan
Dark Victory (Dark Knight II):
Bruce Wayne/Batman: Christian Bale
Alfred: Michael Caine
Edward Nashton: Guy Pierce
Dr. Hugo Strange. Kevin Spacey (I know he's Lex Luthor, but couldn't think of someone better.)
Catwoman: Kate Beckinsale
The Dark Knight Returns
Bruce Wayne: ?
Harvey Dent: William Dafoe
The Joker: Michael Keaton
Superman: Brandon Routh (superman is essentially immortal. so he doesn't age.) so he couldn't really be recast
Remember this is fantasy casting, not what we think would actually happen.
And if there is a thread like this, I'm sorry.

Over on the X-Men boards, there is a secret ballot involving the Top 50 X-Men.
I figured a list by the fans of the greatest Batman Villains of all time would be just as worthy of your time. So if your interested, go ahead and private message me your list of Top 10 Batman Villains (whether it be your favorite, or the ones you feel are most important).
Your Top Choice should be #1 on the ballot (receiving 10 points) #2 (receives 9 pts), #3 ( 8pts) and so on. At the end of 30 days I will reveal the list. All in fun guys and girls.
P.S. If you want to send your pick for the ONE absolute worst Batman villain as well just for fun, we can do that in addition to the Top 25 best Batman villains.
Have fun
